This beautiful saddle joined the NSC range in 2020.

We heard your cries that you love the rider feel of the close contact foam/latex panels of the European style saddles but don't want to lose the sympathetic and customisable fit of traditional wool.

So keeping the horses back in mind, we have found a compromise to keep everyone happy – a revolutionary wool Pro Panel, that can be flocked to fit your horse, but still feels close for you like latex!

Welcome to the SRT Monoflap, a lightweight, close contact flat seat, with an ergonomically shaped twist and seat.

The SR range of saddles has been designed by SMS Qualified Saddle Fitters in conjunction with top NZ riders and then created by our UK Master Saddle Maker Adam Ellis, who has spent time working with us here in New Zealand to ensure that this is truly a saddle designed for NZ Sporthorses. 

Made with the highest quality Italian Calf as standard, for that grippy already broken in feeling. The SRT is a monoflap for the closest possible leg contact.

Knee blocks are available in your choice of pre moulded, removable front and/or back, with a fixed back block with no back blocks or without blocks at all - the choice is yours.

The girthing has a "Y" web which allows the saddle to adjust to suit your horse’s girth groove, and has the ability to be customised to fit your horse's conformation.

The SR showjumping range has been designed for the NZ sports horse, and suits those with a medium to high amount of curve and medium to high withers.
