Terms and Conditions Equestrian Online
These Terms and Conditions apply to every sale between Equestrian Online, The Saddle Cellar and its customers. There will be no variations
to these terms and conditions unless explicitly stated in writing by Equestrian Online.

Our legal business name is Equestrian Online, and we also trade under this name. "Equestrian Online" will appear on cardholder statements
for any transactions made through this website.

Our legal business name is Equestrian Online it will also trade as The Saddle Cellar. "Equestrian Online" will appear on cardholder
statements for any transactions made through this website.
Content
While we endeavor to supply correct information on this website at all times, mistakes, errors or omissions may occur. Equestrian Online
takes no responsibility for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, resulting from the use or application of information contained on this
site.
Pricing
Prices shown on the Equestrian Online website are listed in New Zealand dollars, and are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to change or
alter any prices at any time for any reason. Any variation to an order (once accepted) will result in price adjusting to reflect the
variation.
Payment
Equestrian Online will accept full payment only for any online order made within New Zealand. Payment can be made via Direct Payment
Services (DPS) with a Visa or Mastercard. You are also welcome to pay via online banking. These details will be sent with all order
confirmations. Please be aware that there may be a 24 hour delay on the shipping of orders payed for via online banking as we wait for that
money to clear.
Product Range and Availability
All efforts will be made to fulfill any order placed with Equestrian Online; however, we accept no responsibility or liability should we be
unable to supply the goods ordered for any reason.
Warranty
Goods are warranted from defective workmanship and material provided that the goods are unmodified in anyway and are used for the purpose
intended by the manufacturer. The warranty covers replacement or repair of the product itself provided that Equestrian Online is satisfied
that the defects were defects in manufacture or in transit.
Warranties will not be extended beyond that of the manufacturer's warranty period or conditions. The warranty is limited to replacing or
repairing any defective goods with the procedure set out in these terms and conditions, provided that Equestrian Online is satisfied that
the defects were defects in manufacture or in transit.
Delivery and Delivery Charges
Equestrian Online currently use New Zealand Post for all of our deliveries and can offer a huge range of shipping options.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination but are usually within 1 – 4 days, some RD address can take another day, if you have any
queries on your delivery, let us know and we will look into it for you.
Returns
Because we pride ourselves on an amazing service, and a speedy delivery service, if you find once you have confirmed your order, you would
like to add or alter the order we will do our upmost to change this for you, but we may not always be able to.
If you find you need to change something, contact us immediately and we will do our best for you. Once you have received your goods, we are
happy to exchange them for you if you have changed your mind. For the purposes of such exchanges:
- The goods being exchanged must be returned to Equestrian Online in the original, condition.
- The goods being exchanged can be used as a store credit with Equestrian Online.
- You must meet all postage costs for both the return of your original purchase as well as the dispatch of the replacement goods.
- Returns are not available on sale or clearance goods.
Every order that is dispatched from Equestrian Online is checked, to ensure the products are in the correct condition, however customers
have the right to return any goods deemed faulty or damaged in transit for a replacement. The following conditions apply terms returned in
these circumstances:
- Where goods are being returned due to a fault or damage, they must be in original condition.
- Where return is due to a fault, the customer must contact Equestrian Online within 7 days of receiving the product.
Equestrian Online will cover the postage costs involved for the return and replacement of any faulty or defective goods.
Privacy
Personal Information
Through conducting its normal business, Equestrian Online may collect customer information including purchase history, contact and delivery
details. This information will remain confidential and will be held securely, and will not be disclosed to any third party.
Customer Consent
Customers who do not wish to have any personal information collected and used for any purpose other than that required to complete the
transaction will need to express this in writing at the time of purchase.
Access to Personal Information
Personal information relating to the customer is available under the Privacy Act 1993, and the customer may request changes to the
information held.

THE SADDLE CELLAR
Welcome to Equestrian Online’s Saddle Cellar! This is a new and exciting initiative from the team at Equestrian Online, designed to make
purchasing and selling new or used saddles stress free, easy and cost effective.
We are proud to bring to you some of the best brands from around the world, both new and second hand. We are also very excited to offer a
sale on behalf, outright purchase or trade in of your loved second hand saddles.
SELLING WITH THE SADDLE CELLAR
Sale on Behalf
Get the most out of your sale.
The Saddle Cellar will sell on your behalf quality English saddles, of well-known brands, up to 18.5 inch, and most widths.
Sale on Behalf Rates
15% on saddles sold for $1,500 or more.
20% on saddles sold between $800 - $1,499.
25% on saddles sold between $400 - $799.
Outright Purchase
Get paid as soon as we accept your saddle, quick, no fuss option.
The Saddle Cellar may look to purchase a used saddle directly from you. Brands we may consider for this are: Adam Ellis, Albion, AMS,
Amerigo, Arabian Saddle Company, Farrington, Ideal, Kent and Masters, NSC, Thorowgood. We may also consider other good quality English and
European Saddles.
Would you like us to sell your saddle?
Please pop us through a few photos of your cleaned saddle: front on, underside, side on, serial number and girth points.
Let us know the size, brand, colour, gullet size (if known) and the price you are looking at for your saddle. We can then talk more about
the possible sale of your saddle. it is also helpful to know if it may have had any adjustment or alterations from new.
Please Note
We do not accept any saddle that is damaged in a manner to which is had become structurally compromised in any way. This includes but is
not limited to: broken or compromised trees, damaged stirrup bars or substantial damage to any area of the saddle. Saddles sent to us for
sale that we deem to be fundamentally compromised will be returned at the cost of the owner and not offered for sale by us.
Saddles that require small repairs or maintenance such as: re flocking, new girth points or other similar work can be sent to us for
resale. Any repairs, flocking or other work will be charged at competitive rates and due for payment prior to advertising the saddle.
Saddles listed for SOB with the Saddle Cellar will be exclusive to the Saddle Cellar for the first 2 months of being offered for sale.
BUYING WITH THE SADDLE CELLAR
Piece of mind
All saddles available for purchase through the Saddle Cellar will have a full safety check to ensure that
it is fit for purpose and safe for you and your horse, this is in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. This also protects you as a
purchaser, to ensure that the saddle you are purchasing is fit for purpose.
Second Hand Saddle Trials
All second hand saddles available for purchase are able to be trialled for a period of 7 days. Saddles will need to be paid for in full
before they are sent out or collected for trial. Saddles sent out for trial will need to have the freight paid also. Saddles will be sent
out in a box and packed with foam and a saddle cover to protect the saddles, if returned they must be returned in the same box, packing and
saddle cover.
If you wish to return the saddle at any time during the 7 day trial you need to contact us and let us know it will be returned. If no
contact is made during the 7 day trial period that sale will be considered complete.
During the trial, you are liable for the saddle. It is your responsibility to insure the saddle for accidental damage, theft, fire, flood
etc. Any damage incurred to the saddle during this time will result in a deduction from the refund due. If the saddle is returned to us
damaged beyond repair or in an unacceptable condition it will not be accepted. You will subsequently be liable for the additional cost to
return the saddle to you.
New Saddle Trials
All new saddles can be trialled for a period of 7 days. Saddles will need to be paid for in full before they are sent out or collected for
trial. Saddles sent out for trial will need to have the freight paid also. Saddles will be sent out in a box and packed with foam and a
saddle cover to protect the saddles, if returned they must be returned in the same box, packing and saddle cover.
If you wish to return the saddle at any time during the 7 day trial you need to contact us and let us know it will be returned. If no
contact is made during the 7 day trial period that sale will be considered complete.
During the trial, you are liable for the saddle. It is your responsibility to insure the saddle for accidental damage, theft, fire, flood
etc. Any damage incurred to the saddle during this time will result in a deduction from the refund due. If the saddle is returned to us
damaged beyond repair or in an unacceptable condition it will not be accepted, and you will be liable for an additional charge to resend the
saddle to you. There is a $100 non refundable fee on any returned new saddles.
The Saddle Cellar can help with the return freight of the saddle, please talk to us about this.
You can trial more than 1 saddle at a time, please contact us if you wish to do this.
Saddle Fitting with the Saddle Cellar, Christchurch and Auckland.
We have a saddle fitter on site in both Canterbury and Auckland, who can be booked for fittings.

Auckland fitter - Christine Pert - Auckland Saddle fit.
We are also happy to send any of our second hand saddles to your own fitter for you to arrange to have them fit it for you. This will have
the same conditions as the "Second Hand Saddle Trial" above. We work closely with a team of fitters around New Zealand, so if you may like a
fitter in a certain area, please do let us know and we can send their details through to you.
Renting with the Saddle Cellar
Rental Saddles
Currently only available within the wider Canterbury District. We will continue to review this.
You can select a saddle from our available inventory of models from top manufacturers such as Albion, Amerigo, Adam Ellis, Bates, Wintec,
NSC, CMK and more. If you’re not sure which make, model, and size will work for you, we recommend a saddle fitting consultation. For

We will ship the saddle to you for a risk-free 2-day trial period, which beguins when you receive the saddle. You pay the cost of
shipping to and from your location. Shipping charges vary according to the location.

Given you are completely satisfied with the fit and comfort of the saddle, your month-to-month rental begins on the third day following
delivery of the saddle.

With your approval and signed Rental Agreement, we will invoice the weekly, fortnightly or monthly amount until we receive the saddle
back.
- There is a 4-week minimum rental period, which payment is due for before the saddle is shipped.

You are responsable for insurance while the saddle is in your care, proof of this will need to be provided in the first week of rental.

The saddle can only be used by the person renting the saddle, and must be kept at the address listed on the insurance and rental
agreement.
- Cancellation must be made via email, with 2 weeks notice from either party.

Cancellation will be instantaneous if a payment is missed or late, and the saddle must be returned immediately. If no contact is made,
or the saddle is not returned with in 1 week, it will be invoiced at the valued amount. Failure to pay this amount will lead to
further action.
Saddles will be sent out in a box and packed with foam and a saddle cover to protect the saddles, when returned they must be
returned in the same box, packing and saddle cover.
If you wish to return the saddle at any time during the 2 day trial you need to contact us and let us know it will be returned.
If no contact is made during the 2 day trial period the rental will be considered started.
During the rental, you are liable for the saddle. It is your responsibility to insure the saddle for accidental damage, theft, fire,
flood etc. Any damage incurred to the saddle during this time will result in a deduction from the refund due. If the saddle is
returned to us damaged beyond repair or in an unacceptable condition it will not be accepted. You will subsequently be liable for the
full value of the saddle.
Hire Rates
$30 per week on saddles valued at $1495 and less.
$50 per week on saddles valued between $1500 and $2495.
$75 per week on saddles valued between $2500 and $3495.
$100 per week on saddles valued over $3500.
* PLEASE NOTE: The rental fee is based on short-term use of the saddle on a single horse. When the saddle is returned, we reserve the right
to charge a $30.00 cleaning fee if the returned saddle is excessively dirty. If there is more wear and tear than would be normal for
short-term use on a single horse, we reserve the right to assess an additional fee.
If you decide to purchase the saddle after the rental begins, the rental fee will not be applied to the purchase inside of 10 weeks. The
saddle will be valued at time of hire, and can be purchased for this price at any time during the rental. If the rental is longer than
10 weeks, any rental payment received after the 10 weeks will be taken off the valued price of the saddle.
